AC Trophy Goes to Giambrone of Chattanooga Monday, August 5th, 2019 So far in his young career, Trent Giambrone has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the American Conference in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 25-year-old Chattanooga Lookouts second baseman hit at a torrid .692 clip as he collected 9 hits in 13 at-bats, 1 home run, 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored. This season in 77 games Giambrone is batting .277 with 13 home runs, 55 RBIs and has scored 49 times. |
