Mets Romero Tames Florida Saturday, July 6th, 2019 The St. Lucie Mets rolled to an easy 10-0 win over the Florida Fire Frogs at Osceola County Stadium today. Leading the way to victory was starter Tommy Romero, who shackled the Florida Fire Frogs and held them scoreless on a 3-hitter. "This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Romero said in his postgame press conference. Checking out his stats for the season, Romero has registered 6 wins and 4 losses in 14 starts, 3.09 ERA and struck out 69 batters in 87.1 innings. |
