Gailen's 20-Game Hit Streak Ends Wednesday, August 21st, 2019 Blake Gailen had his hitting streak snapped at 20 games today during a 4-2 Lakeland win over the Modesto Nuts at John Thurman Field. The 34-year-old left fielder was hitless in 2 at-bats. "Had to end sometime," Gailen said, shrugging. For the year Gailen has hit at a .328 clip with 71 RBIs, 19 home runs and 70 runs scored. |
