Carrizales Selected Player of the Week Monday, September 2nd, 2019 So far in his young career, Omar Carrizales has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the American Conference in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Lakeland Flying Tigers left fielder hit at a torrid .750 clip as he collected 18 hits in 24 at-bats, 3 home runs, 16 RBIs and 18 runs scored. This season in 89 games Carrizales is batting .385 with 10 home runs, 68 RBIs and has scored 108 times. |
