Lagrange led his club to a 89-2 victory over the Buies Creek Astros today at Banner Island Ballpark, smoking Buies Creek pitching for 7 hits in 9 at-bats. The 24-year-old left fielder later called the victory "sweet." Wagner Lagrange flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Henry Valencio in the 3rd, walked in a run in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Henry Valencio in the 5th, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Henry Valencio in the 6th and hit a two-run single in the 6th. On the year Lagrange is hitting .286 with 128 hits, 9 home runs, 69 RBIs, .364 OBP and has scored 66 runs. |
