Best AC Reliever Named Saturday, October 19th, 2019 Colby Blueberg said he thinks hitters often underestimate him, as he's only 26 years old. But he'll certainly be getting a lot more respect now, as the Lakeland Flying Tigers rising star has won the American Conference Reliever of the Year for 2019. He captured the award on the strength of his 1.47 ERA over 49 innings. He also had 30 saves in 47 relief appearances, 99 strikeouts and only 15 walks. He received 28 first place votes out of a possible 30. David Bednar of the Down East Wood Ducks finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Cason Sherrod of the Modesto Nuts finished third.
