Kendall Graveman got the win, improving to 6-4. He pitched 7 innings, giving up 4 hits and 1 run, while striking out 3 and walking 2. The Rangers have an impressive 35-22 record.
Thames had a key at-bat for Texas early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 9th home run of the season and gave Texas an early 3-0 lead.
