The Colorado Rockies picked up a win at Great American Ball Park, knocking off the Cincinnati Reds, 7-4. Starting pitcher Aaron Sanchez was an essential part of his team's success. Even with the win, the Rockies have a dismal 21-39 record.

The Rockies got a big at-bat from third baseman Brett Lawrie. For the game, Lawrie was 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Colorado a 2-0 lead.

"Enjoyed this one," Sanchez told the Colorado News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
