The rain came, as predicted, but the Cleveland Indians and Minnesota Twins were able to complete their ballgame.

The Cleveland Indians downed the Minnesota Twins, 11-6, at Progressive Field. Matt Joyce led the way, going 2-for-4 for Cleveland. With the win, Cleveland has a record of 25-43. Minnesota falls to 26-42.

Joyce contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Cleveland in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 6-5, Joyce took a fastball from Nick Pivetta and stroked the home run to right-center. His 4th home run of the season allowed the Indians to leap in front, 8-6.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Joyce told reporters after the game.
