Extra-Inning Win by Brewers over Giants
|
Milwaukee and San Francisco played a hard-fought contest at AT&T Park.
The Milwaukee Brewers got a magnificent performance from pitcher Collin McHugh, who muffled the San Francisco offense en route to a tight 3-1 Brewers win at AT&T Park. Milwaukee goes to 70-36. The win puts them 6 games up in their division.
Aaron Judge, who leads the NL with a .624 slugging percentage, aided the Milwaukee cause with a run-scoring strikeout in the top of the 11th. For the game, the right fielder did the little things right to help the team.
"Exciting game to play in," said Judge. "Getting the win makes it even better."
