The Giants faced a stiff challenge from Milwaukee pitcher Jon Gray, but persevered to claim a win at AT&T Park. The final score was 1-0. Gray went 7.1 innings and allowed no earned runs. San Francisco is now 58-48, while Milwaukee is 71-37.

The Giants got a big at-bat from right fielder Tyler Naquin. For the game, Naquin was 1-4 with a double. In the bottom of the tenth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 6th double of the season gave San Francisco a 1-0 lead.

"It's a thrill to get that kind of win," Naquin said.
