Dodgers Continue Skid Thanks to Moran, Astros
|
The Houston Astros knocked off the Los Angeles Dodgers, 6-4, at Dodger Stadium. Colin Moran, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Houston won. The third baseman was 2 for 2 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Tony Zych was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 6 of 11 save opportunities. Los Angeles has now lost 6 straight.
Welington Castillo had a clutch at-bat with no one out in the top of the seventh for the Astros. Coming up with a runner on 1st and Houston trailing 4-3, he hit a 2-run home run.
"It feels good to get this one," Moran told the Houston Chronicle.
