Victory Pushes Giants Record to 60-52
|
San Francisco Giants starter Jake Odorizzi was in fine form against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field, leading his team to a 4-3 win. The second-place Giants now have a win-loss record of 60-52.
The Giants got a big at-bat from second baseman Dustin Pedroia. For the game, Pedroia went 1-4 with a double. In the top of the fifth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 21st double of the season gave San Francisco a 4-3 lead.
"It feels good, just a great win all around," Pedroia said after the game.
