The Minnesota Twins downed the Cleveland Indians, 6-3, at Progressive Field. Maikel Franco led the way, going 2-for-2 for Minnesota. Minnesota reliever Alex Meyer picked up the win, upping his record to 4-2. Brett Cecil was saddled with the loss. The Twins now have a mark of 50-63.

This game was not decided until late. With one out in the top of the tenth, Kendrys Morales hit a sacrifice fly. The Twins took the lead, 4-3.
