Reddick Slugs Diamondbacks to 8-1 Win
|
The Arizona Diamondbacks bested the Philadelphia Phillies, 8-1, at Chase Field. Josh Reddick was named player of the game. He went 4-5 with 2 home runs and a double, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 6. Arizona is 4th in the National League West Division with a record of 56-58.
Reddick had a key at-bat for Arizona early in the game. With the bases loaded, he hit a grand slam home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and gave Arizona an early 4-0 lead.
"There's a lot of passion in our clubhouse," said Reddick. "When we put it together we're a great ball club."
