Giants Win 3-1 Walk-Off
|
The Giants had to overcome a fine effort from Houston pitcher Robbie Ray to grab a narrow 3-1 win at AT&T Park. Ray went 6 innings and allowed 1 earned run. The Giants bumped their record to 61-52 with this latest triumph.
Tim Anderson chipped in for San Francisco with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 15th. For the game, the shortstop had 2 hits in 6 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Anderson told reporters after the game.
