|
The Pittsburgh Pirates got a magnificent performance from pitcher Tyson Ross, who stifled the Milwaukee offense en route to a 3-1 Pirates win at Miller Park. The Pirates now have a record of 52-78.
Carlos Correa, who won the Rookie of the Year Award in 2015, chipped in for Pittsburgh with a solo home run in the top of the fifth. For the game, the shortstop had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Ross said after the game.
