Multi-HR Game for Gallo in 8-0 Win

The Cincinnati Reds knocked off the Pittsburgh Pirates, 8-0, at Great American Ball Park. Joey Gallo, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Cincinnati won. The third baseman was 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. The Reds have an impressive 98-62 record.
The Reds got a big at-bat from right fielder Scooter Gennett. For the game, Gennett went 1-3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 22nd home run of the season gave Cincinnati a 2-0 lead.
