Athletics Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start
Getting an impressive start from Steven Brault, Oakland beat Seattle by the score of 3-2. Brault went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 3, and struck out 1. His record improves to 1-1. Michael Feliz was credited with the save for Oakland, his 1st of the season.

The Athletics got a big at-bat from center fielder Guillermo Heredia. For the game, Heredia was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the seventh, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Oakland a 3-2 lead.

"I'm proud to be a part of what we've got going on here," Heredia told the Oakland Citizen. "It's a great group and we're happy with the win."

The Athletics, with just their 5th win so far in 2018, have yet to catch fire.
