Guyer Smacks 5 Hits for Rockies Saturday, September 29th, 2018 It was a big day for Brandon Guyer and he brought the Colorado Rockies along for the ride. Guyer led his club to a 23-12 victory over the Washington Nationals today at Coors Field, smoking Washington pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. The 32-year-old left fielder later called the victory "sweet." Brandon Guyer hit a two-run home run off Brandon Woodruff in the 1st, was hit by a pitch in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, doubled in the 7th and doubled in the 8th.
