NL's Top Hitter Announced Monday, October 1st, 2018 Carlos Correa may be much younger than other hitters in the National League, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in September to win the Batter of the Month award. The 24-year-old Pittsburgh shortstop hit .413 with 12 home runs, 31 RBIs and 25 runs scored. This season Correa is swinging the bat at a .325 pace.
