AL Selects Rookie Star of the Month Monday, October 1st, 2018 Tyler O'Neill is still a bit shy, but then, who could blame the newest American League Rookie of the Month honoree? He hasn't been around the league long enough to fully know the ropes yet, despite the fact that he's putting up veteran-like numbers. In September the Seattle hitter tagged opposing pitching for a .271 average with 29 hits, 9 home runs and 24 RBIs. Currently O'Neill is hitting .310 and has collected 17 home runs, 46 RBIs and scored 40 times, while playing in 64 games. |
