Toronto Takes Division Series in Deciding Game
Saturday, October 13th, 2018
It went the distance, but the Toronto Blue Jays finally disposed of the Los Angeles Angels 8-4 in the series clincher at Rogers Centre.

Winning the finale gave the Blue Jays the series, 3-2. They will now advance to the League Championship Series.

The Most Valuable Player Award went to Toronto catcher Austin Hedges. He batted .333 in the series, collecting 1 RBIs and scoring 2 runs.

"Austin deserves it," said Blue Jays manager Ryan Hicks. "He was the glue that held our club together."

The Toronto Blue Jays don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Chicago White Sox - Texas Rangers series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece. The League Championship Series is scheduled to begin on October 14th, 2018.
