Setback for Houston and Alex Colome Sunday, October 28th, 2018 Astros reliever Alex Colome has suffered a setback in his rehabilitation for shoulder inflammation. He was expected to finish treatment soon and rejoin the team slightly ahead of schedule. Doctors reevaluated him after he felt severe pain in a recent workout. The preliminary examination revealed more damage and is worse than the first injury. Anonymous sources in Houston told BNN Alex Colome would be absent from the roster quite a bit longer than originally diagnosed. He would now have to miss at least 4-5 weeks. In 34 relief appearances in 2018, Colome has nailed down the victory 0 times for his club. In 28.2 innings he has fanned 20 batters and walked 6. His won-lost record is 1-0 with a 1.88 ERA. |
