Tampa Bay, Baltimore Agree to Swap Sunday, November 4th, 2018 The Tampa Bay Rays have released a statement confirming the trade of 35-year-old 1B Joey Votto, 27-year-old SS Matt Duffy, 19-year-old minor league RHP Hunter Greene, 21-year-old minor league SS Arquimedes Gamboa and 24-year-old minor league RHP Jonathan Loaisiga to the Baltimore Orioles for 22-year-old 3B Rafael Devers, 25-year-old 2B Jorge Polanco and 25-year-old RHP Jeff Hoffman. The deal was finalized today. During his career Votto has chalked up 1758 hits and a .311 average with 281 home runs and 924 RBIs. During his career Devers is hitting .290 with a total of 59 home runs. |
