Reds, Yankees Trade Players Sunday, November 4th, 2018 After a week of negotiations, the Reds and Yankees have come to terms on a deal that will send 28-year-old RHP Ken Giles, 28-year-old 2B Scooter Gennett and 27-year-old LHP Felipe Vazquez to New York for 27-year-old LHP Martin Perez, 32-year-old C Francisco Cervelli, 22-year-old minor league LHP Justus Sheffield and 22-year-old minor league RHP Dylan Cease. His career stats show that Gennett has batted .288 and connected for 84 home runs. During his career Cervelli has played in 623 games, batted .278 with 26 home runs and 533 base hits. |
