Brantley Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Monday, June 18th, 2018 Michael Brantley had an answer for everything the Cleveland Indians threw at him today at Progressive Field. The Chicago left fielder went 5-for-5 in the game to put his name in the record book and put the White Sox on top, 6-0. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Brantley said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Michael Brantley singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
