Milwaukee, Oakland Deal Made Saturday, July 28th, 2018 Milwaukee and Oakland announced some roster changes today as the Brewers acquired 30-year-old RHP Craig Kimbrel from the Athletics in exchange for 25-year-old minor league CF Greg Allen, 24-year-old minor league 2B Dilson Herrera and 27-year-old minor league 1B Luke Voit. Representatives from both teams say they are pleased with the deal. Oakland will retain a portion of Kimbrel's remaining contract. For the year Voit has hit .000 with no home runs, 1 RBIs and scored 1 runs. This year Kimbrel has chalked up a 3.61 ERA with 9 saves. In 45 relief appearances he has put up a 3-3 won-lost mark and struck out 72 batters in 42.1 innings. |
