Houston Ships Ryu to Philadelphia Sunday, July 29th, 2018 It has been in the rumor mill for several weeks, but today team officials for Houston and Philadelphia confirmed an agreement. The Astros dealt 31-year-old LHP Hyun-jin Ryu to the Phillies for 24-year-old minor league 1B Victor Caratini. Houston will retain a portion of Ryu's remaining contract. This season Ryu has worked 96.1 innings with 71 strikeouts en route to a 8-6 record and a 4.67 ERA. |
