American League Names Rookie of Month Wednesday, August 1st, 2018 Youngster J.D. Davis emerged as the latest American League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Detroit deserved the honor, batting .333 with 4 home runs and 12 runs batted in. Is the month of July a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Davis enjoy the limelight. Davis is currently batting .240 with 16 home runs and 53 RBIs. |
