Top National League Newcomer Named Wednesday, August 1st, 2018 In July, Christian Walker piled up some solid numbers and walked off with the Rookie of the Month award in the National League. Last month, the 27-year-old Arizona first baseman played in 24 games and hit .310 with 6 doubles, no triples and 3 home runs. Walker also scored 13 times and drove in 18 runs.
