NL Player of the Week Named Monday, August 27th, 2018 Kyle Schwarber demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the National League Player of the Week Award. The San Francisco catcher wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .526 average (10-for-19) with 6 home runs and 10 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. Schwarber is currently batting .240 with 23 home runs, 67 RBIs and 74 runs scored. He has 96 hits in 400 at-bats. |
