Injury Brings Season to End for Jimenez Monday, August 27th, 2018 Joe Jimenez had hoped for the best, but expected the worst. Today, he learned from the Baltimore medical staff that he would miss the rest of the season. The Baltimore reliever suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament in an earlier ballgame. He admitted to being discouraged, but said he plans to come back strong next year. During this season Jimenez has delivered 3 saves. In 67 relief appearances, he has 55 strikeouts in 74 innings with a 5.96 ERA and 5 wins and 2 losses. |
