Detroit Loses Trumbo for Season Friday, August 31st, 2018 Mark Trumbo had to wait several agonizing days to find out his diagnosis after suffering a severely strained hip muscle on 08/29/2018. Today he received word from the Detroit doctor that he would be out the rest of the year. Team officials called it a huge setback but something they would have to overcome. This season Trumbo is batting .249 with 62 hits, 13 home runs, 41 RBIs, 22 walks, .314 OBP and has scored 30 runs. He has played in 84 games. |
