Playoffs? No Chance for St. Louis Thursday, September 13th, 2018 The St. Louis Cardinals didn't have what it took to make a postseason run this year. The team was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. St. Louis last appeared in the postseason in 2013. This is their 5th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 122 times in their 143-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Cardinals have missed the playoffs 7 times. St. Louis last won the World Series in 2011. |
