Turner Belts 5 Hits Tuesday, September 18th, 2018 Trea Turner put on a hitting clinic today at Miller Park, spraying hits all over the ballpark and lashing Milwaukee pitchers for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. However, the offensive onslaught wasn't enough for the Cincinnati Reds, who still fell, 5-3. "Sometimes I try to pull the ball too much, so today I just went with the pitch," Turner told reporters after the game. "It's great to get 5 hits, but it would have been nicer to win the ballgame. too." Trea Turner singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Hisashi Iwakuma in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
