Twins End Gregorius's Streak
Friday, September 21st, 2018
It was a doubly miserable day today for Didi Gregorius of the Oakland Athletics, as he saw his 21-game hitting streak end and his team lose 10-1 to the Minnesota Twins at Oakland Coliseum. The 28-year-old shortstop was held hitless in 3 at-bats by the Twins.

"Anyone on a 21-game hitting streak is going to be a tough out," Minnesota manager Al Wehr said later. "But we had a plan and we were careful about it, and got it done."

This season Gregorius has 21 home runs and a .295 batting average.
