Lakeland Flying Tigers Win Top Spot in American Conference Frank Thomas Division Wednesday, September 5th, 2018 Lakeland Flying Tigers's front office staff ran some numbers after all the games were played today, and came to a quick realization - it's done. Lakeland has clinched the top spot in the division for the 1st time, and now has to be considered one of the favorites in the annual challenge for the Round 3. A reporter from the Lakeland Daily News caught up with some fans who were celebrating outside of Joker Marchant Stadium when they heard the news. "I've always believed in this team! I've been a fan of the Lakeland Flying Tigers since before I could walk," said season ticket holder John Masters. "I'm looking forward to celebrating our 1st championship soon!" |
