Phillies Shut Out Brewers
|
The Milwaukee Brewers and Philadelphia Phillies were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd at Miller Park.
Philadelphia Phillies starter Emmanuel Ramirez pitched a strong game against the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park, leading the Phillies to a 4-0 win. The Phillies improve their record to 31-21 with the win over Milwaukee.
It could have been a different outcome for Philadelphia, had it not been for Giancarlo Stanton, the 2017 Most Valuable Player Award winner . Stanton contributed a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning to put Philadelphia up, 2-0.
"It was just a matter of executing," said Philadelphia manager Anthony Cepperalo.
