Beaty Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Sunday, May 26th, 2019 The hitting streak for Syracuse third baseman Matt Beaty now stands at 20 games, but the Chiefs dropped today's contest 5-2 to the El Paso Chihuahuas. Beaty went 1-for-4 in the game. "Things went well for me personally today," he said later. "I got 1 hit and the streak keeps going. But we didn't win the game." Matt Beaty grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. So far in 2019 Beaty is batting .373 with 5 home runs, 24 RBIs and 31 runs scored. He has 60 hits in 161 at-bats and a .448 OBP. |
