PC's #1 Starter is Lucchesi Saturday, June 1st, 2019 Joey Lucchesi took a much-deserved turn in the spotlight earlier today as he accepted the National Conference Pitcher of the Month award for May. The 25-year-old 51s starter is a relative newcomer to the league, but nonetheless racked up an impressive 4-0 won-lost record in 6 starts. This month he fanned 39 batters in 37 innings and compiled a 1.95 ERA. This year Lucchesi has compiled a 5-2 mark with a 2.70 ERA in 9 starts. |
