Columbus Second Baseman Nets AC Award Monday, June 3rd, 2019 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the American Conference, but last week David Fletcher of the Columbus Clippers reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Fletcher rocked opposing pitching for a .481 average (13-for-27), 3 home runs and 12 RBIs to come away with the award. So far this season Fletcher has gotten 60 hits in 175 at-bats for a .343 batting average with 4 home runs. His stats include 28 RBIs and 29 runs scored. He has played in 42 games. |
