Cole Fires Shutout in Toledo Win Tuesday, June 4th, 2019 Today was A.J. Cole's turn in the rotation for the Toledo Mud Hens and he made the most of it, shutting out the Charlotte Knights on 2 hits. The 27-year-old right-hander led the Mud Hens to an easy 7-0 victory, allowing 1 walk and tallying 7 strikeouts. "I hope we miss him next time," Charlotte manager said. "Cole certainly pitched a strong game against us today. He was in a groove, throwing everything for strikes. Throwing hard. Changing speeds."
