Ravelo Selected Top Player Monday, June 17th, 2019 27-year-old Rangel Ravelo made a few Colorado Springs headlines during this past week as the rookie first baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and National Conference officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 14 hits in 24 at-bats to put up a .583 average. Ravelo collected 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 9 runs. In his stats this season, Ravelo has posted a batting average of .341 with 58 hits in 170 at-bats, 7 home runs and 30 RBIs. He has also scored 40 runs, walked 36 times and compiled a .467 OBP. |
