Fisher Batters Reno Big Time
Tuesday, June 25th, 2019
Even as a kid, Jameson Fisher said his coaches told him the key to hitting was making contact, and letting everything else flow from there. At Greater Nevada Field today, Fisher showed how well he learned that lesson.

The 25-year-old first baseman had 5 hits in 5 at-bats for the Indianapolis Indians, helping his team knock off the Reno Aces by a score of 5-4.

"They always said, just keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing, make contact and you never know what will happen," he said. "That's all I did today."

Jameson Fisher singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Dillon Tate in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

On the season, Fisher is batting .208 with 4 home runs and 22 RBIs. He has played in 49 games.
