Charlotte Draws Blanks Against Hammel Saturday, July 6th, 2019 Jason Hammel hurled nothing but zeros at the Charlotte Knights in an impressive outing at McCoy Stadium today. The Pawtucket pitcher allowed 2 hits, fanned 11 and walked 0 in blanking Charlotte, 7-0. "There were a lot of frustrated guys walking back to the dugout today," Charlotte manager said. "Not a fun day." Hammel has posted a 6-4 record for the year with a 4.32 ERA. Teams are hitting .288 against him and he has rung up 73 strikeouts in 85.1 innings. |
