David Fletcher Wins AC Trophy Monday, July 29th, 2019 25-year-old David Fletcher made a few Columbus headlines during this past week as the rookie second baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and American Conference officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 12 hits in 26 at-bats to put up a .462 average. Fletcher collected 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 8 runs. So far this season Fletcher has gotten 134 hits in 384 at-bats for a .349 batting average with 8 home runs. His stats include 56 RBIs and 67 runs scored. He has played in 90 games. |
