Hit Streak Now at 25 for Stevenson

Andrew Stevenson's consecutive-game hitting streak has now climbed to 25 games. The Norfolk center fielder smacked 1 hit against the Toledo Mud Hens in today's game at Fifth Third Field, but he expressed mixed emotions about the streak after watching the Tides drop the game, 5-2.

"I feel good about the streak, but don't feel good when we lose," he told reporters. "I'd love to get a hit as well as a win next time so I can celebrate properly."
Andrew Stevenson grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, struck out in the 6th and singled in the 9th.

This season Stevenson is swinging the bat at a .372 pace. He has hit 2 home runs and scored 31 times, while driving in 27. His on-base percentage is .431 and he has played in 40 games.
