Tides Peterson Named AC's Best Pitcher Sunday, September 1st, 2019 Tim Peterson was the anchor in the Norfolk bullpen last month and snatched up the American Conference Pitcher of the Month honors for August. The 28-year-old is in the prime of his career and pitching like he intends to stay around baseball for quite some time to come. He threw 14.2 innings over 12 relief appearances and collected a 4-0 record with 22 strikeouts and 7 saves while etching his 1.84 ERA. On the year Peterson has recorded 10 saves. In 17 relief appearances, he has 31 strikeouts in 17.2 innings with a 3.06 ERA. His season won-lost mark is 5-1. |
