Chih-Wei Hu put together a very solid month to take home the National Conference's top pitching honor in August. The 25-year-old reliever threw like a veteran. In no relief appearances he raked in no saves and 34 strikeouts in 35.2 innings as he put together his 4-0 record and 2.27 ERA. So far this season, in no relief appearances Hu has compiled an ERA of 3.58. He has pitched 168.2 innings, struck out 129, walked 35 and registered no saves. |
